³Ô¹ÏÏÖ³¡ Ethics Committee.
³Ô¹ÏÏÖ³¡ uses an independent Ethics Committee providing a key role in ensuring maintenance of standards, quality, transparency and accountability for the function of ³Ô¹ÏÏÖ³¡ as a professional body and regulator. The ethics committee is independent of and performs a separate function to ³Ô¹ÏÏÖ³¡ and the ³Ô¹ÏÏÖ³¡ Executive Committee.
Members of the Ethics Committee have several objectives in any given 12-month period:
Independent Review
Independently comment upon, feedback and review reports / minutes compiled by:
the Executive Committee.
the ³Ô¹ÏÏÖ³¡ Lay Committee.
Report production
Produce an independent Annual Report (November to November) which includes recommendations for future practise based on the independent review mentioned above.
Feedback and Complaints
Where necessary be involved in feedback or concerns raised which are directed at ³Ô¹ÏÏÖ³¡ in its function as a professional body and regulator. For information on raising a concern about ³Ô¹ÏÏÖ³¡ please visit this page of the website.
